During the film, Kyle frequently has flashbacks to a fight that occurred years ago when he was younger. The fight will involve The Client stealing this from around Kyle's neck as they fight. This beating is the fuel for The Client's revenge and this necklace brings Kyle back to The Client.
The chain/rope for the necklace is self made and we decided that it would be a good idea if we were to knot the rope to create the look of fake rosemary beads to create the ides that because they are fake, so are Kyle's religious beliefs.
We chose this cross as it shows that Kyle was a man of Christ and that what he did to The Client was purely an act of helplessness as he had nothing. The chain will be ripped from Kyle's neck as he is angrily beating The Client appallingly.
This box is the box that Kyle will deliver from address to address and the box that holds the necklace. The Client will allow Kyle to open the box to find his own necklace from a long long time ago. We made the box look overused and messy so that Kyle's character wouldn't think to open it if as it doesn't look wortjy of something you'd want to take a sneaky look at.
