This is our production logo for 'Crucifix Productions'. Although this logo was an original idea, I took inspiration from the traditional cross Jesus was hung. I also took inspiration from the symbolic yet suggestive hexagon shape.
I found that layering up the hexagon shape on top of one another not only gives the logo 3D depth, but also gives a professional look to it.
We took the decision not to include our production title 'Crucifix Productions' in our logo. We decided this because we felt the logo was more striking without text, additionally there was no place within the logo in which the text could be placed.
However, we have discussed a separate logo in which the text can be placed. Any updates on this idea I shall blog with visual ideas.
